Meet The Team

Norman Smith

Norman is a highly experienced trade qualified Fitter and Turner with 26 years’ experience. His highly skilled technical and mechanical ability and proficiency in the use of hand tools, machinery, diagnostic and performance testing equipment associated with hydraulics, servicing, manufacture, and installation will be our key player.

For 19 years he worked for Anglo America/DeBeers Consolidated mines as a mechanical fitter and turner before immigrating to New Zealand. This offered world-class exposure within a fast paced, production driven industry. There Norman proved himself as a multi-skilled tradesman working on a range of industrial size pumps, reverse osmosis water filtration systems, plant and equipment etc. The health and safety systems demanded within the mining industry are of a superior nature due to the risk associated with this field. Health and safety knowledge is important to lead any team.

He is a reputable pump specialist and has worked for All Pumps/PASLR and Ecoflow in New Zealand before venturing off to start Pro Pump & Filtration. It is Norman's desire to offer affordable, reliable and friendly service to all Pro Pump & Filtration customers.

Corneli Smith

Corneli has 23 years of experience in Customs clearing and freight logistics and is a good administrator and excellent accounts manager. She is very skilled at streamlining procedures and runs the administrative part of Pro Pump & Filtration.
